As we continue in our Series on Disciples of Jesus we have been in the midst of Peter talking about Suffering. In 1 Peter 3:18-22 Peter pauses to remind us of the nature of Christ suffering for our sin, and he died as the righteous for all the sins of the unrighteous. This brings us to consider how we suffer and ask if we are choosing to mindfully suffer by Renewing and Rejoicing with Christ in our suffering. These two actions if we choose helps shift our eyes off the horizontal situations back to Christ our redeemer.
