As we close out John we see in Ch 21 a conversation between Jesus and Peter where there is an interaction around the question of 'do you love me'. This is a moment of Jesus restoring Peter after his three denials, but it is also a time of showing Peter that 'Love for Christ is the CAUSE for sacrificial living of Feeding and Leading Sheep'. This moment shifted the focus of Peters life fully onto the call of Christ to Feed and Lead sheep out of love for Christ. May we consider that we are invited to Sacrificially live our daily lives out of Love for Christ, because he first loved us.
