Here we read John’s account of the resurrection of Christ. We get a great glimpse into how Jesus ministers to Mary Magdalene in her time of need. We see first that Jesus was present with Mary- even though He had just risen from the dead- He stays around the tomb to show when she needed Him most. Then we see her finally coming to recognize Jesus only as He calls her name. This is powerful.
