As we continue our Anatomy of a Disciple series we come to 1 Peter 1:6-9 looking a the need for Trials to grow our faith. These "Fiery Trials" ultimately refine our faith into a genuine faith helping to remove the impurities of our own self. This refinement points us to Praise, Honor, and Glory of Christ as he is the one doing the work in our lives. When we face trials we can trust that God is working even when we grieve and even struggle he is working out a more Genuine Faith in us, that leads to salvation in Christ Jesus. May we grow more genuine through the trials we didn't choose.
