This Sunday we started our new series into I Peter of “The Anatomy of: Disciples of Jesus.” One aspect or characteristic of a Disciple of Jesus is to embrace ourself as a Chosen Exile. As Peter intros the letter he encourages the believers to embrace themselves as chosen exiles who learn to trust in the Father’s foreknowledge, allow the Spirit’s continued sanctifying work in them, and daily choose to obey and follow Jesus as their true king.
